We support couples who are navigating separation across cultures, languages and countries. The practice is led by a divorced expat family mediator who understands that separation can feel especially difficult for international families.
Since 2023, I have helped international families work through the practical and personal questions connected with divorce. The aim is to create a calm, structured space where both partners can explain their situation, ask questions and explore possible agreements together.
Support for international families across the Netherlands
Although Family Mediation Delft is based in Delft, we support international families throughout the Netherlands. Conversations may be possible online, depending on your situation and practical needs.
We can support discussions about children, parenting arrangements, housing, finances, communication and the next steps in the separation process.
Member of the MfN mediator federation
I am a member of the MfN mediator federation. The MfN is the professional organisation connected with registered mediators in the Netherlands.
Where your situation involves cross-border legal questions, residence rights, tax, pensions or complex finances, you may also need independent advice from a suitably qualified legal or financial professional.
A clear and respectful first conversation
The first conversation is an opportunity for both partners to explain their situation, ask questions and see whether mediation could be suitable. You do not need to have every decision made before starting that conversation.
